My goal in ministry is to use God’s Word to carry out Jesus’ mission for his church and trust that he will accomplish his plans through the proclamation of his Word. It is great to be a part of Jesus’ work for his church.

Experience: I helped start Beautiful Savior Lutheran church in Clarksville, TN. I served that congregation from 2000-2016. While in seminary I served congregations in Maitland, Florida and Milwaukee, WI. I also taught one year of high school from 1998-99.

Personal Interests: God has blessed me with an understanding and supportive wife. He has blessed us with 5 children. Through the preaching and teaching of God’s Word, my goal is to share the forgiveness of sins that has been purchased and won for us through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Experience: During my studies at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary I served the congregation of Holy Word Lutheran Church in Austin, TX and St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Milwaukee, WI. Through an organization called Academia Cristo, I taught Bible classes in Spanish to people all over Central and South America.

Personal Interests: In my free time I love getting outdoors and seeing God’s beautiful creation. I enjoy watching and playing sports, board games, and reading. I have been blessed with a loving and supportive wife. We enjoy exploring the city of Houston, finding new restaurants to try, time with our families, and the beach.[/our_team_list][/vc_column][/vc_row]
