Kindergarten Round Up

Kindergarten Round-up provides an opportunity for up and coming PreK students from our preschool/church/community to come into the Kindergarten classroom to meet their future teacher, become comfortable with the classroom, and get ready for the transition that awaits them next year. We start the day with some free time to see what the classroom offers, followed by the Bible Story. We have a snack, which gives me the opportunity to walk around and sit with the kids and get to know them a little better. After our snack, we head outside for recess on the “big playground” and have a lot of fun. We finish the morning off with a story and a craft that allow the kids to show me their artistic side! I really appreciate the morning I have with the kids because it allows me to interact with them and get to know them! The parents are able to mingle with other parents and talk with Mr. Hill. God has blessed us so richly here at Abiding Word and I look forward to having this opportunity at the beginning of March! I look forward to seeing all who attend.
